Highstone Housing Association Limited became a Registered Provider (RP) with the Home and Communities Agency (HCA) on 17th September 2013. Our registered number is 4776. The Home and Communities Agency took responsibility for the regulation of social housing providers in England on 1st April 2012. Highstone Housing Association is a non-profit private registered provider of social housing.
We work closely with Commissioners, Social Workers, Assistive Technology Managers, Adaptations and Disability Managers and Occupational Therapists to ensure the accommodation meets the needs of the tenant.
The quality of accommodation delivered has always been to a very high standard with full consultation of Commissioning, support provider and identified tenants. Feedback from support provider on speed and quality of any repairs required has been very positive and the working relationship between all parties is both professional and friendly.
We are an innovative and responsive housing association making independent living happen, offering a fresh approach to supported housing solutions. All our tenants have direct access to their own designated housing officer who will provide a one-to-one housing management service from repairs and maintenance to assistance with housing benefit
With 30 years’ experience building quality homes, our standards are high and this is reflected in each home designed and built by us. We offer an end-to-end service sourcing the land or property, developing the scheme and providing a prompt and efficient 24 hour maintenance and repair call out service to all our tenants.
All our contractors are fully accredited with appropriate certificates including Gas Safe and NICEIC. Highstone is an accredited Water Safe organisation. Our repairs and cyclical maintenance programmes include minor repairs, redecoration programmes and ground maintenance. Statutory testing and inspections are carried out on all properties including service and LOLER testing on specialist equipment, emergency lighting, gas and electricity safety checks, drainage, heating systems, roof maintenance, fire precautions and security measures. All properties are subject to regular management inspections.
